The chess comp and the days at 1 utama ^^
This post will be merely just words. I seriously don't know what happen to the photos, i've uploaded them but they just wouldn't appear here no matter how many times i have tried to post them on this blog entry.

sorry for it.
Right, I finally went to 1utama after the last visit which was about a decade ago. (Eh, how old am I by the way? Only 18+ what.) =P Spent two days at there until my leg became numb at the end of the day. Haha. Anyway, it was indeed a happy moments shopping with my family!!
The distance between 1u and the place I live is kind of far, it took about 45 minutes to reach there yet we went there for two days continuously.
Well the simple reason is because..
It was simply our wish!
(haha, feel like pinching me?)
Ok lar, sorry lar.
Last Saturday there was a chess championship held at SK Seri Hartamas and yes, Yi Keat was there to participate too. There was 100 over participants ranged from the age of under 10 till under 16.
We left my brother there when the game was announced to be started at 9 and went for breakfast. Of course we did our job to tell him that we will be going out after the game started and wished him luck.
We were hunting for some nice foods down the streets but it seemed there were not many choices left as all the restaurants workers were nowhere to be seen. One by one we passed by, and neither were they ready to serve customers. Most of the restaurants were still closed up at that time. Sighed. Probably it was a Saturday morning so people are reluctant to wake up early and set themselves to work. After all the sun was bright, the sprinkler twitches on the grass, spraying rainbows. It is far too beautiful for words like these. Let alone it was a cooling early morning where you would wish to be on the bed. Minutes passed by when we crossed a few streets, and there was finally a glimpse of hope for us. The Coffee Bean was seen at the other corner.
Finally! To search for something to eat seems rather difficult in the morning huh!
Oh ya, I treated my parents the breakfast.
am I a good girl? We were enjoying our breakfast until something happened, a call from an unknown based on the caller ID appearing on my dad’s phone. I just continued with my breakfast while my dad who’d finished eating earlier on was answering the phone. At the end of his conversation I barely knew what happened through the curt response and answers my dad have given but still remained silence in order to hear the entire story from him. He asked us to hurry up cos my brother was crying over the phone claiming that he can’t find us after the first round of game ended. And the helpful lady over there just caught him crying at a corner and offered her help so eventually we received the call from her...When we reached there, we saw my brother and when I was just inches away to be able to get him he actually showed his resentful expressions over me and it was like.. Wow, anger flaring in his eyes man!! We called and he turned away from us, walking to the other side where his friends were. This petulant 8 years old is just too vindictive I thought, thanks to my mom for pampering him too much at all times. Well, we got him at last and I lectured him for seconds cos I really loathe seeing him behaving like that at this young age. We did apologize for keeping him waiting for us la. I knew it was partly our fault but I wanted him to know what it is all about and hope he can change his temper.
The game ended at around 4pm , he did not won but no harm taking all these as experiences right? We took cab to 1u and met my dad after that as he was still attending a meeting.
This time my mom treated both of us at the Sushi King. Mom did not really eat though as she had taken her lunch at the school while the chess comp was still on.
After that we went shopping for a while (old wing and new wing of 1u)
There was an event happening at that time-the remote car racing contest organized by ING insurance company which became the center of attraction. My brother was so excited and dragged us there too as he has found his heaven I supposed. That’s it, the day gone like that.
My dad finally arrived, and he was being dragged along by my mom to join my brother in the game. Lol. Funny la wei. My dad actually refused but then it was too late already since my mom had him registered to take part in the contest, under the family category. Haha. Too bad.
They won the second place, so they were given the bags with ING logo on it as a gift rather than the racing car which my brother wanted eagerly.
For dinner, it was my dad’s treat. Fair enough right? One person treats once. My brother is always an exception lar. We had our dinner at around 9pm thanks to the game which ended quite late.
It was around 11 15pm when we reached home that day.
The second day..
My mom bought necklace for my sis and I, and I chose for myself and also for my sis since she’s still at Kedah.
Bought a pair of heels at VOIR too. Thanks daddy for the heels and mommy for the necklace which I have longed for ever since I broke the chain of the earlier necklace I have. :(
My brother won the racing car this time. haha, glad for him? Practice makes perfect huh?
The dinner we had was fantastic, it was at a Teo Chew Restaurant. The price was fantastic too.
A deep, heavy fog of lethargy washed over me, my eyes closed without my permission. It’s sleeping time again,
